LeagueGM allows officials to offer up and claim assignments on their own, without involving the Officials Assignor. Replacements are found using LeagueGM ’s dual ‘Email’ and ‘Up for Grabs’ system. The moment an assigned official requests a replacement:
An email is automatically sent to all available and qualified referees
The game is immediately added to the ‘Up for Grabs’ game list
Once
claimed, an email notification is sent to the following:
Official offering up the assignment
Official claiming the assignment
Officials Assignor
When an official requests a replacement the assignment is immediately put on the ‘Up for Grabs’ listing. Claiming any ‘Up For Grabs’ assignment will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Referees will only see games for which they are qualified, even on those days for which they are unavailable and at fields listed as ‘Not Acceptable’. This gives the referee the utmost flexibility in claiming assignments and results in optimum game coverage
